WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FORUMS

Following the first forum in Canberra in 2006 and the publication of the Skill Shortages Strategy and related activities, a second forum was convened in 2009. Since then the National Local Government Workforce Development Forums have become an annual event in Canberra, attracting 40-60 targeted delegates representing all tiers of government, local government associations, professional bodies, industries and councils. The 2014 forum was held 7 and 8 April and was the seventh in the series.
